Sailing Instructor Chesapeake Bay and Caribbean

About Captain Keith

Captain Keith Binnersley started Upper Bay Sailing School, Inc. on the Chesapeake Bay in 1996 as a retirement lifestyle after 35 years working for a fortune 500 Chemical Company. The sailing classes are live-aboard and are taught on Beneteau Sailboats.  Captain Keith is a Certified American Sailing Association Sailing Instructor and holds a 50 ton Masters USCG License.  He has sailed the Chesapeake Bay, the East Coast USA and the Caribbean Islands extensively for over 30 years.

Captain Keith, ASA's Instructor of the Year 2001 "I discovered sailing many years ago and found it to be a wonderful way to enjoy time with friends and family as well as a way to get away from the office and become totally entranced and absorbed with a world that I did not know existed. Exposing others to this experience either in the Chesapeake Bay or the British Virgin Islands in the winter months is what Upper Bay Sailing School is all about.  I worked hard to achieve the ASA's Sailing Instructor of the Year Award and I thank all my students who made this possible."

Upper Bay Sailing School, Inc. is located on the Chesapeake Bay at Green Point Marina, 23150 Green Point Rd., Worton Creek, MD 21678.
